DEAR JANE

404 Studio draws inspiration from the timeless romanticism of literary icons Jane Austen, Emily Brontë, and Mary Shelley, reimagined for the 21st century.
The collection takes its name from Wuthering Heights, reflecting the intensity and resilience of women in power, where access to influence may be fraught and challenging, yet perseverance and strength allow them to overcome every obstacle.

This collection explores the duality of women’s existence: vulnerability and strength, longing and autonomy, sensuality and intellect. At its core lies forbidden love and the rebellion against imposed limits, capturing the tension between societal constraint and personal desire, repression and liberation. Feminism is woven into the narrative, celebrating women’s pleasure, choice, and power. Each piece tells the story of a woman navigating her emotions, desires, and identity with confidence and audacity.

The collection embodies the romantic vulnerability of literary heroines alongside the assertive strength of contemporary women, drawing inspiration from modern female directors such as Emerald Fennell, whose reinterpretations resonate with the mood and psychology of this vision.

This is not nostalgia, it is reinvention. 404 Studio translates classic romanticism into a modern language: daring, selfaware, and entirely feminine. It is an homage to women who imagined and felt beyond boundaries, now reinterpreted in fashion that celebrates autonomy, desire, and power.
